The Wood County Board of DD owns it and Wood Lane Residential
Services, Inc provides the services to 8 women living in the home. The
home is licensed by the Ohio Department of DD and certified by the
Ohio Department of Health as an ICF/MR.
Named in honor of Rohland Hampton
on 5/23/85, the Rollie Hampton Family home opened in February 1981.
This home has been home to 8 ladies since this time.
The staff and residents
say that this is a home where you can just be yourself. This isn’t
just a place where people live, rather it is a place where people
learn and grow to be themselves. In a field where turnover is generally
high, the RHFH celebrates the staffs longevity. Five of the full time
staff have been working with the ladies at the RHFH for 10 or more years.
This offers a unique teamwork approach. They put their experience to
work!
